  About me  

My name is Kevin Hofbauer and I am currently following a Masters degree at Uppsala University in Sweden. I have been passionate about creating 3D art for almost a decade and I am constantly looking for new ways to make my art come to life, starting with games in Unity during my Bachelor's program in the Netherlands. I have since experimented with short films in Unreal Engine and After Effects, or creating character animations in Blender and Maya. Currently, I am learning programming in three.js to create web-based applications with my 3D art.

Student Volunteer · Visby, Sweden

I volunteered at the annual EUSBSR forum and supported event coordination and logistics as a room host.

Graduation Intern · Groningen, The Netherlands

I designed and developed an educational game in Unity to teach first year archaeology students about fieldwork preparation and practices for the Department of Archaeology at the University of Groningen.

UI/UX Designer · Groningen, The Netherlands

I designed and implemented the User Interface for a self-regulated learning platform for SELFLEX. My role involved designing the UI, integrating it into Unity, creating all interactive elements (including buttons) in Illustrator, and conducting user testing to refine usability and functionality. 

3D Artist · Zwolle, The Netherlands

During my internship at VR-Innovations, I created 3D assets for various projects across PC, mobile, and AR games. My responsibilities included modeling, texturing, UV unwrapping, and animation. I also contributed to testing and programming. One of the projects I worked on was Dr. Rubber, which is featured in my portfolio.
